Via API it would be a negative experience for the contact and is a violation of GDPR/Can-Spam. For those reasons I believe such a feature has not been implemented directly into Klaviyo.I hope to present an update here in the future as well.Best,Alex Thank you for the extra info Alex, one last request and then I shall leave y’all alone for a bit. Please clarify how deleting a profile would be a violation of the Can-Spam Act. Hey there @mac!Haha it’s no bother at all! That’s what the community is here for :)Pretty much, when you remove a profile via API it removes the suppression marker from their profile. This takes away from their ability to have you stop emailing them, and spells out tough penalties for violations. What if someone were to opt out of emails, you delete that data from their profile, and manually add them back into a mailing list? That would cause a lot of errors and issues down the line.Hope that helped!Alex That would be why we track such details on our end. ;-) If only that applied to everyone who ever used our product @mac then we’d have a perfect world right haha. So for the larger scenario to be safe, this isn’t currently a feature we have but again we do have it on the roadmap so I am sure there will be some eyes on this as an idea for the future. I understand completely, our team is pretty used to being the outlier, and, if I were on the hook for a potential avalanche of Can-Spam penalties I would make the same decision. :-) We also would like to see this functionality =)@alex.hong If there a way how I can delete few test dummy profiles with one api requests? A big part of maintaining your email reputation is processing bounces properly. While most major MBPs (Mailbox Providers) give bounce replies "on the wire" during the SMTP session, there are some that send bounce messages via email. In order to receive these emailed bounce messages, you must have the appropriate return path header included with your email so that recipients know where to reply with bounce information. You must also process this bounce data and act accordingly. In addition, many MBPs will soft bounce your initial attempts at delivery. This is also called grey-listing or throttling. If you continue to send emails to bad addresses or you do not listen to MBPs feedback, you will get filtered and eventually your emails will just get dropped.Mailgun automatically processes bounce information and reacts accordingly. A good portion of Mailgun's technology is devoted to the parsing of this feedback and adjusting your sending in accordance with this feedback so that you maintain a good reputation. If we receive a hard bounce, we will stop sending to that address immediately and will not attempt future deliveries to that address. We will stop sending to an address after multiple soft bounces, according to the MBPs' guidelines. It is possible to remove addresses from the flagged list in your Control Panel or through the API, in case it was a temporary issue.

Act Plugin DevelopmentWelcome to the Act! Developer Documentation for plugin development. This site will walk you through getting yourself setup for creating an Act! plugin.RequirementsNodeJS & NPM (comes with NodeJS download)Knowledge of JavaScript project creationAn Act! Developer AccountCLIYou can run the CLI using the npx command.First, login to the Act! NPM registry:npm set registry loginUse the username and password given to you when you signed up.Then, from the terminal, go to the directory you wish to hold your project and run the following command:npx @act/plugins plugin initThis function will generate your project structure for you with initial code and configuration. The script will ask whether your project uses Actions. This is a type of extension provided to plugin developers and requires another JavaScript file to be used for global actions called by the Act! application. Choosing yes will result in a new property in your manifest and an actions.js file being created with some initial code to contain your global functions. You will still need to define the action extension within the plugin-manifest.json file. Use the extensions docs to see the model for that. This should place you through all of the Getting Started. Check out the API section for consuming this library.SampleCheck out the sample plugin built to demonstrate a Google Maps integration for the Contact entity. To see the full plugin in action, acquire an API key from Google for their Google Maps API. Insert the key into the code at the corresponding TODO section, then build and run
